I wanted to let you know that I completed my first Olympic triathlon today. It was a great experience, and while the conditions were very windy and choppy, I learned a lot and am excited for more. Hi Krista! I thought I’d send along a quick update for you. I did the Musselman on Sunday in Geneva, NY. Have you ever done it? It’s such a fun race. It was CRAZY HOT! Anyway, I had a good time and most importantly learned a TON so the next one will go a bit better. Thanks again for an awesome program!
I did the Jamestown International on 6/8 where I PR’d the distance in 2:30:05! I had a solid swim and bike, cramped through mile 2 on the run, but ran through it and finished strong. Got 4th in my age group, but overall was very happy with my new PR.
I completed the sprint novice plan I previously purchased, did my triathlon, and it went great! I really benefitted from having your plan to follow. I didn’t complete every workout but made sure I did every swim and it gave me the confidence to go from super sprint distances to the sprint.
